About This Game This is a smart, honest and deep hardcore game. A true intellectual challenge. I just got tired of cartoon casual card battlers, pay-to-win games, random focused game mechanics, timers, energy bars, speed-ups and other free-to-play crap. Together with my friend, various CG artists and game enthusiasts from all over the world we’ve made a game free of this annoying stuff. Play how you want and as much as you want. It’s originalRips of MTG and Hearthstone made by studios with huge marketing budgets have filled the market. Piece of cake: popular franchise + successful mechanics + $ = $$$. We’ve made an original title. We realize that it's a huge risk. I’m sure the question: “Damn, what’s just happened?” - will be a pretty popular thought. Skillful in another game? Forget your experience. It's not a rip. Mechanics are original but very logical. Don’t hurry. Read, examine, experiment. Enjoy discovering the layers of the game. We have almost forgotten this feeling. It’s honest. No pay-to-winThere are no paid advantages in PvP. Don’t wait for compromises or casual stuff. PvP is extremely intense. One mistake may cost you the victory. You can win or lose in a minute. Everything depends on your strategy. It’s a true fight of intellects. After the first 20 battles you will respect that guy on the top with 3000+ wins. I don’t know how he’s made it. Especially with the cards he had.The AI is uniqueThere is a lot of PvE content in the game. Feeling so powerful after victory in Elven Fist mission? Try challenges, limited time events, side quests and daily quests. You always have a possibility to grow. The AI is brilliant. He does not know your cards, so no cheating. He used to be so good that we had to make him dumber because he ruined the server. Still don’t wait for favors from him. He’s not as creative as you but he knows how all the cards work. Wanna a core fight? Only 20% can finish the story. It’s finely balancedNo strongest race, strongest card or warlord. The balance is perfect. There are no imba decks. You can suddenly lose from a weak bot. Though I hate random there is a luck factor in the game. Why? Because it’s a great balancing tool. It gives a chance to win like in real life. But fortune favors the prepared. Choose from the 300+ card pool, 18 warlords (with 3 skills each) and get ready for any surprise. It’s really variableRace tactics are different. Warlords are different. Some of the cards are pretty complicated. Use them as a scalpel not as a hammer. Gonna play as an assassin? Don’t pick up the dwarves, they are heavy, slow and prefer fortification. Your choice is the elves. Like meaty heavy rush? Don’t pick up the undead. They are controllers, have powerful spells. But ghosts and skeletons do not have a lot of health and it’s logical. Your choice is the orcs. Or mix them with other cards. A deadly stab in the opponent’s back by an elven assassin is a good start for the orcish rush. Now it’s role playing through strategy. You are your army. To me, role playing is not about spreading experience points or choosing who to sleep with virtually. It is your own unique battle style. The game gives you enough content for that. You can play as a mage or a warrior, an assassin or a tank, a necromancer or a paladin and more. To improve social interaction we’re already working on a huge update with clans, a global map with POI and a non-linear campaign. We need your support, guys, to make the game live on Steam. So what is Clash of Cards about? It’s about how intelligence wins. How intelligence gives us a chance to win the hardest battles.Who asked for a hardcore and honest old-school collectible card game? Here it is. Sincerely,Daizor 1075eedd30 Title: Azorian KingsGenre: Indie, StrategyDeveloper:Azorian, kron0s_alexey, Pavel_BalakinPublisher:Elina Faritovna BalakinaRelease Date: 21 Jun, 2018 Azorian Kings Activation Code [serial Number] It is a decent game for the money. A lot of content, very beautiful cards, there is PvP. There is a strategy, you need to think a lot. What else is needed for sensible game.. Game is confusing and buggy. Tutorial didn't load until i tried to quit the game. After trying to quit again, it loaded its store page in full screen, and I had to force it to close.. Interested card game without P2W (artifact sucks). This game worth the money and I really recommend it!. I would LOVE to recommend this game, but I have to steer folks away. The first time I tried to play, the tutorial abruptly ended after one minute with NO way to restart it. Good luck figuring out how to play without the tutorial. After that, I started a campaign. I figured I would see if I could muddle through the learning process without a tutorial. What happened, you ask? EVERY match I attempted to play ended in a random, unearned victory after about one minute of play,. Oh, and the "victory" even failed to register. No rewards...no advancement...nothing...As of now, when you start the game you choose a faction, and its associated cards, with next to no information...And the selection is PERMANENT. You can never change your faction after you make this selection. The card art is beautiful and there MAY be a good game in here somewhere, although it's hard to know without a functioning tutorial. Steer well clear of this game until these issues have been definitively addressed...especially at a $35 price point. As always, this review is subject to change if the issues are addressed.. I was going to write a review on this game last night out of frustration but decided to sleep on it and give it a go again today. Not much has changed. The game has some great potential but the balancing is completely out of whack, as many have stated. Once you start the game for the first time they force you to select a race. There is minimal information given as to what each race entails. Furthermore, once you selct that race, you are stuck with that race... FOREVER. Since seeing what other races have to offer, I wish I had selected differently. On to the balancing factor. I literally had to play a challenge 21 times before defeating it. Yes, I counted because the first playthrough of the initial start of the campaign, this one particular challenge gave me infuriating difficulty. I started the campaign over and came to this challenge again and made sure to count. Basically, the AI would play this one Elf Warlord on the first turn of every game (As that was a perk of that Warlord). The issue was that he is immune to physical and magical damage and deals direct damage to you. I only had 1 card in my entire deck that would combat that. The Grim Reaper. Once played, he killed that Elf and I won without a problem. Without that specific card, I literally would have never won. So yes, I had to wait 21 games before I drew that one card in the beginning. Because, it wasn't like that Elf was weak. He literally killed me on or before turn 3 every... single... game. There are also other challenges that play Mythic cards, to which I still have yet to get one. That's just one example of the balancing issues. I replayed two challenges that immediately come to mind countless times, only to lose within the first 1-3 turns. Yes, even first turn deaths. That's how unbalanced this game can be.Another issue is the speed of which you obtain cards. You can gain gold relatively quickly but then you have to spend 75 gold to purchase a new card. Yes, 1 new card. No packs or bundles. One measely card. I've spent over 2,500 gold on cards and the best card I've received is a 3 star card. They go up to 5. I haven't even tried the online portion of this game yet because I'm getting crushed by an unbalanced AI at the moment and I don't want to write this game off so soon. The game does do some things right, however. The graphics/illustrations are great. The no pay wall model has returned, which is why I purchased this game to begin with! The gameplay itself is strategically very good. You really do have to think turns ahead and there are a lot of great combos to pull off. The Devs really weren't lying when they said the game makes you think and you can lose it if you're not careful. There are multiple phases for which your team will effectively attack first, then the other team will attack first, there's the normal HP, Attack, and even armor stats. The one stat you really don't see in many CCG's is that of a speed rating. That will dictate if your creature will retaliate first or not. Great idea IMO. It really adds depth to the strategy and where to place your card. The board is set up much like Hearthstone with your creature attacking the creature directly in front of it. Only 5 creatures per side can be active at a time so choose carefully. In short, there are many things done right here but the game still needs some STRONG re-balancing to be worthy of any time. Otherwise it is infuriating. I also read from other reviews that they see their game end suddently in a WTF moment. I definitely had a few of those until I started paying closer attention. The game isn't like Magic in the respect that it pauses when the AI plays a card. Some cards played are once again, way overpowered. I had just over 50 HP. The next thing I know, the AI played a card on top of the God forsaken Elf I previously mentioned. I couldn't see what the card was as it was played, immediately attached to the Elf and the Elf attacked. Next thing I see is the Defeated screen. That happened again, somewhere in between game attempt 13-20 I can assume where I was able to see the card. Basically it adds 35 attack to the unis next attack. The Elf already had 30 attack, as if that wasn't enough. With that attack going directly to me and not being able to block it, he hit me for an insane 65 points of damage! I only started with 102... I picked this up on sale for under $5 so I wasn't going to ask for a refund. For two reasons: 1. I truly want to support more developers who aren't money hungry and decide to make a pay to own model, like this. and 2. Like I mentioned, I truly believe the game has great potential if it gets rebalanced. And I mean almost a total revamp type of rebalance. On the bright side, it was only recently released so hopefully it will get the attention it needs and deserves. If you can pick it up for the $5 price tag I say do it, because it will help support these guys and it could easily be great. For the regular price tag of $35? I couldn't justify that in slightest at this point in time....For those of you wondering which Race I selected, I chose the Undead/Vampires. They aren't bad but they are beyond vulnerable at times and the starter deck doesn't particularly come with a single dominant creature. I looked at some of the cards for other races and the Elves have some good cards as they also have some Giants on their roster. I just wish I could change knowing that but I'm stuck. Choose carefully*UPDATE*One day after writing this review the developer responded as you can see below. Just due to that fact alone I would've changed my "No" recommendation to a "Yes", as I was on the fence. However, with that being said, he was very helpful with a few things such as being to change your race. I still feel like the game still needs additional balancing but maybe because I'm used to other CCG's like Magic where the matches can take longer as there really aren't a complete game crusher as with this game. *To Daizor*- Thank you for your timely response and advice. I know you recommended me to add certain cards to my deck to make it stronger but I have not received those particular cards in all the ones I purchased. I can't make an efficient deck outside of my starting race because I haven't obtained anything worthwhile. I'll keep at it though and I wish you the best of luck!. VERY VERY VERY GOOD GAME!2hour later...Op music and sounds :)Good game play! Ty this game! 10/ 10Köszönöm!. Did the developers have any outside playtesting? There are just way too many wtf moments where things happen with no explanation that might make sense to someone who's already heavily invested in the mechanics of the game, but if you're just picking it up you're left scratching your head as to what just happened and why.Buying it on sale for $5 just leaves me feeling kind of dumb. If I'd paid full price I'd be furious.Nice graphics though!. A rare game without microtransactions. The developers ask ten bucks for everything including all the future updates. I guess it's a good deal.. Only positive for a $5 sale price tag, which is the price at the time of this review, not worth full price.Pros:+ Unique artwork+ RPG crafting material grind+ Simple but relevant card matches+ Card upgrade system, sort of.+ Seems like content updates happen on the regular.+ lack of players in PvP queue 😉+ the blatant lack of balance provides an entertaining chaos where building a deck actually yields win rates of 0% to 100%, yup in some cases 100%.Cons:+ Balancing was done whilst many bottles of vodka were consumed.+ Straight up mistakes, look at “The Red Clan Preceptor” ’s upgrade for example.+ PvE content shy+ The campaign, at least necro, hits like a truck on the 4th story mission forcing players elsewhere.+ the in-game Races are almost identical aside each having their own “instant kill race x, x and x” cards being restricted to different race targets.I can’t afford 2 cups of coffee with $5 so yeah I deem what little entertainment is gained from this game as a pve CCG fan is worth the current price tag.My opinion on this game may very a lot based on your starting race in this game as it deems your starting deck and AI opponents. I picked necro advertised to have immunities only to find every race aside orc has cards with same and better, magic, immunities. And to my regret I found out most AI human decks run at least half the damn deck with “instantly kills undead” cards that you guessed it kill undead cards even if their immune to the damage type of the human. It gets better humans get a card that does this in a 100% AOE with 200hp as well as a 4* card that does 50 damages to all undead (more hp than all but 2 of them). And yeah if you pick orc you will get dunked by the undead, stupid orcs.. That a great game guys, i was a bit lost for start, time to get to know the cards. But after all if you take a little time to play and learn on the way is a good game to spend time on. I definitly recommand this game to all people who like cards games. I m curious to see the chapter2 as i would like to keeping the adventure futher.enjoy.... UPCOMING a new card + rebalancing of the Damballa's witches: It looks even scarier than I expected :) I have not decided what the final stats of this cards should be. I want to separate the succubuses and Damballa's witches lines. This card will be rare. A player will be able to make it from Damballa's Claws. So the line will be: Possessed - Damballa's Claws - Damballa's Eyes - ??? - Damballa's Priestess. The succubus line will be: Tiny Witch - ??? - Red Witch - Succubus - ???.This card must be not too overpowered, make the witches more playable, and show the demonic nature of the Damballa's witches.Any ideas?. Massive spell rebalance!: 26 spells were rebalanced! The rest will be finished with the next update. I have not finished checking the descriptions but it seems they are ok :) The art could differ, I will correct this soon. The most important thing is that a lot of spells and potions have PERMANENT effects on a card. For instance, once you increase it damage - it will stay increased until the end of the battle. The next step ammunition cards (finally) :) If you find any issues with rebalanced cards please leave me a report! I will correct it asap.PS: Grim Reaper now can be killed by Konung-Az or Silencer. Retired Fierntbrannt buffs only gunners.PPS: The full list of rebalanced cards:Talami StrikeSpirit AxeShoolarghSalty BloodChrismHoly BoltBone SpearCorpse ExplosionGhost GiftThe Wrath of GravesStighia SparksImmolationChain LightningAetherMorlong BanBlessing by OilSlayzingPressureDimagusHawk EyeAngerDamballa LaceratesTuffCold SweatTribal MaskMorlong SealArmorer. Introducing the Clans: Free Men of Tortuga: Captain Grace O'Walley - a warlord of Tortuga. The main bonus is a possibility to rob the other players. They are fast, they are aggressive and have no rules in the Clan. Don't wait for support - every man for himself. Mercenaries' League - is an evil clan. But the main character point for them - "Chaotic". The third one is - "Warrior".. Changes in summoning!: Hey, everyone! There are several important changes in summoning.default summoning now brings a card of ANY race to you;fine summoning brings you a card of the race you have chosen to start the game.Best regards,Dazior. Clash of Cards is available on Steam!: Hi everyone! The Early Access version of Clash of Cards will be available on Steam in two weeks! It is a smart, honest and deep hardcore collectible card game free of annoying free-2-play restrictions. NO pay-to-win NO timers NO "energy bars" A pure intellectual challenge.Best regards,Daizor. NEW card - Jangala Curser: Welcome a new card - Jangala Curser. This rare demon can cause a lot of troubles :)I wanted to make a build with "shamans" more playable. That's why I have tuned balance a little bit:now Damballa's Shaman, Parasite Shaman, and Jangala Curser are joined in one group: the "shamans";Parasite Shaman now decreases damage and HPs of all the foes by 15 points and speed by 3 points;Damballas Spawn is boosted by any shaman. Also he gets direct damage. Jangala Curser plays important role in this build. He increases HPs of all the allied shamans by 40 points! So they live much longer on the field. But that is not all. He decreases HPs of all the foes by 10 points! So he can kill strong armored card from the one hit.
